Lauren Elledge is junior at Penn Manor High School and applies herself academically in Honors and AP courses. She has been very active in professional and community theatre since the age of eight and has been profoundly fortunate to have performed leading roles such as Anne Frank, Peter Pan, Mary Lennox, Annie, Jane Banks, and Helen Keller. She has worked most often at the Fulton Theatre in Lancaster as well as the Dutch Apple, Susquehanna Stage Company, and Ephrata Performing Arts Center. She plans to attend college for musical theatre and to eventually live in New York City to pursue her goals toward the Broadway Stage. Lauren has begun studies in American Sign Language and hopes to someday perform with Deaf Theatre companies to bring the arts to a community which does not always have the opportunity to experience theatre. She has an older brother, Grant, a Penn State graduate and entrepreneur; he is married to Elaine, someone who feels like a life-long sister. Lauren teaches private dance lessons to younger students and aspires to instill confidence in these students as well as to give them a good foundation for continuing their dance pursuits.
